Commercial Termite Elimination

Termites are social insects that live in colonies. They are usually located in the ground or in wood and feed on cellulose from wood or wood by-products, like paper or cardboard. Left unchecked, termite infestations can quickly inflict costly structural damage to your facility.

Ecolab's Commercial Termite Elimination Program eliminates existing colonies and prevents future termite attacks.

Termites Can Cause Costly Damage

The two most common types of termites that cause damage to commercial structures are subterranean and drywood termites. Subterranean termites usually require a connection to soil through direct wood/soil contact or through the construction of ‘mud tubes’ connecting soil to the food they eat. Drywood termites do not require a direct connection to soil and can infest wood high in the structure where they slowly consume wood from the inside. Termites exhibit cryptic behavior, allowing them to go undetected until significant damage is present.

Ecolab provides commercial termite services to rid existing termite colonies from the structures and establish barriers to keep termites out. Highly trained Service Specialists will thoroughly inspect your facility to identify signs of termite damage, then administer a treatment to effectively kill termites. Regular monitoring and commercial termite services will provide early warning of new termite activity.

Our Commercial Termite Elimination Solutions include:

  • On-site consultation and inspection to locate termite damage
  • treatments to provide quick colony elimination and prevent return
  • Termite baiting stations to detect and eradicate new termite colonies
  • Ongoing monitoring to identify termite activity in the earliest stages

Ecolab’s comprehensive commercial termite elimination program combines an outside-in approach to pest control with on-site consultation, data-driven reporting, customer support and educational tools to raise staff awareness on how they can prevent pest activity.

When you partner with Ecolab Pest and our Pest experts, you can be confident you are getting innovative, science-based solutions to keep your customers and staff safe and your facility pest-free.

Termite Fact:
